How many sessions do you think you’d need to loose weight on a whole body vibration plate?
Hiya. I read about these whole body vibration plates/power plates and on the leaflets it gave some stories about these 2 people from my local town, saying they lost about a dress size or two. On the posters it says ‘drop a dress size in 3 weeks’. It doesn’t say though if those people where on diet pills or how many times a week they had sessions etc. So i don’t know how many sessions to take. I paid for 4 sessions (10 mins each) for £10. Which i thought was a good deal, seeing as one session was £4. I’m still on my first week. I’ve had 3 sessions. Still not lost weight, but i wouldn’t expect anything at this stage.
What do u guys think? How many 10 minute sessions a week would you expect a 9.5 stone girl to have, to loose a dress size, within 3 wks?

I want to get a toned and lean body, so I can look hot whether I’m wearing underwear or clothes.?
I’m 19 and my main problem is cellulite ( I have reynauds disease – poor circulation- which doesn’t help) and general lack of tone. I’m not overweight but I think I have more fat then muscle, and I have inner thigh/knee fat which I’m finding really hard to shift.
So I am planning on:
jogging for an hour 4/5 days a week
and 3 days a week I plan on using my power plate vibration machine to do various strength training excersises.
I already run quite a lot so I hope by upping the excersise I can achieve the body I want. Oh yeah, and I lost a lot of weight quite quickly at one point so I have some loose skin on my stomach. As I’m quite young, will this tighten up as I improve muscle tone in that area and lose most of the stomach fat from there? Thanks! x
Also, I’m going to eat about 1400 calories a day and drink lots of water. 1400 sounds like a lot, but I think with the excersise I should still be losing weight with that amount. I used to have 1200 when I was running and I’d myself ravenous after a few days and I’d binge, so I’m hoping 1400 is ok.

Vibration Fitness Machines?
A friend of mine has started using a Power Plate and has been ranting and raving about the incredible results. And it’s true, she has used it 5 times and I have felt the difference in her biceps. Has anybody used one long-term and can you vouch for their effectiveness especially re. abs and bum?

Has anyone had any really fantastic results from the Power Plate?
My trainer says that it helped get rid of her cellulite, but I’ve also heard from other people that it does no good whatsoever. It’s $30 a session at my gym, and I’d like to know if it’s worth it.
Also, can you feel the vibration? If so, is it bearable, ticklish, painful, etc?
