Has anyone had any really fantastic results from the Power Plate?

My trainer says that it helped get rid of her cellulite, but I’ve also heard from other people that it does no good whatsoever. It’s $30 a session at my gym, and I’d like to know if it’s worth it.
Also, can you feel the vibration? If so, is it bearable, ticklish, painful, etc?

Yes you can feel the vibration, it is not painful. There is no evidence that it helps to lose weight. The cellulite claim is even less credible. It was design to help professional athletes recover from injuries and to help muscles recover after an intense workout. It was also used to treat muscular dystrophy in astronauts after prolonged space missions on International Space Station.

Having said that, I think it can be helpful for bodybuilders or someone who already has a great muscle development. For a casual gym member or someone looking to loose weight, I don’t think it is worth the money.
